Projects of the week, Firmware Update, New Store

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

We’ve got a concise update this week.

Firmware Update:

Firmware version 1.07 is out. It’s a minor update which adds a new state to the calibration process called “Calibration Computing” which will prevent the machine from being moved while the calibration process is crunching numbers.

Project of the Week:

@Betalombo is last week’s project of the week winner with his phenomenal box build.

This week we’ve got a new batch of contenders:

Forums member @RandomDave cut some nice hexagons this week as a part of his ongoing calibration testing

Forums member @Allen1 made a very nice fishing rod holder this week as his first project.  

Forums member @Bryan built 17 (seventeen!!) of these incredible light up panels for a burning man style camp event. Check out the forums post for videos of them in action.

New Store

Our new website store is up and running. We’ve switched from using SquareSpace for our store to Shopify. We made the switch not because we wanted to, but because Shopify seems to be the platform that is supported by most of the other 3rd party integrations. It should be fully up and running now, but there are probably still some bugs out there so if you have any issues with it please let us know!
